Inaugural Santa Barbara Showdown

To kick off 2022, Westmont College, UCSB, and Interscholastic students successfully hosted an I/I tournament at Santa Barbara Polo & Racquet Club. According to Westmont player Keilah Smith, the inspiration to host a consistent annual tournament came from the desire to share the SBPRC facility with other teams, as well as prepare for Regionals. With teams from Colorado, Central Coast, and University of Southern California, it was a full weekend filled with I/I polo and player growth. Thank you USPA for sending umpires! The I/I players at SB Polo Academy are looking forward to future years of Santa Barbara Showdown.
